Caernarfon Herald - - NOSTALGIA -

IN November, 24 Rotarians, plus their friends and guests, dined at the Cae Mor Hotel (next to Venue Cymru) prior to hearing a presentation from Peter Tivy-Jones, Nanette Tivy-Jones and Anna Chambley about their organisation Northern Cleft Foundation (NCF)

NCF exists to help bring hope to some of the 25,000- 30,000 people a year in India who are born with either a cleft lip, a cleft palate - or both - by sending voluntary medics and ancillaries to India to perform life-changing operations, mainly on children

The three speakers were part of an overall team of 60 who flew out to India last year, at their own expense, to work with the Rotary Club of Nagpur West on a week-long clinic, with double operating theatres

This work has been going on since 2001 and full details of their story appears at http:// www.northerncleftfoundation.co.uk/ our-story/
