Even after 40 years it never gets boring

-

IT’S been a year spent travelling around Wales capturing all kinds of events.

The National Eisteddfod in Cardiff, which was held across various city venues, was a different experience this year.

Weather caused destruction in Holyhead, sand storms on the Llŷn peninsula and extensive wild fires.

Of course, the beautiful scenery provided a fantastic backdrop to many of my pictures and reminds me how fortunate I am to work here.

After more than 40 years as a news photographer, this job never gets boring and I am looking forward to 2019 in the knowledge that there will be many new experiences.
