MAN, 20, IN COURT OVER DEATH

A MAN has appeared in court over the death of 34-year-old mum Rebecca Louise Edwards.

Osian Hicks Thomas (left) stood in the dock at Llandudno magistrates court and was charged with death by dangerous driving, driving while over the limit, failing to stop and failing to report an accident.

He was flanked by two security guards as he stood in the dock to hear the charges put to him.

Thomas, 20, of West End, Criccieth, spoke only to confirm his name, address and date of birth during the brief hearing.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Caernarfon crown court on January 14. No application for bail was made.
