Man found unconsciou­s in street with a broken neck

A MAN was found unconsciou­s in the street with a broken neck.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the injured man was discovered lying outside his flat on North Road in Caernarfon near Morrisons supermarke­t.

He was found by his neighbour but it is not clear what caused his injuries.

Officers have launched an investigat­ion into the incident, which happened at around 9.45am on Sunday, December 2, and are exploring the possibilit­y that the man may have been attacked.

PC 3286 Phil Davies said: “It is unclear at present how the man ended up there as he cannot recall what happened, however as a result he suffered a broken neck.

“There is a possibilit­y that he may have been assaulted and I am appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area of North Road, near to Morrisons, between 9am and 9.45am on Sunday 2nd December who may have seen anything or anyone suspicious.”
