Man found un­con­scious in street with a bro­ken neck

A MAN was found un­con­scious in the street with a bro­ken neck.

Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses af­ter the in­jured man was dis­cov­ered ly­ing out­side his flat on North Road in Caernar­fon near Mor­risons su­per­mar­ket.

He was found by his neigh­bour but it is not clear what caused his in­juries.

Of­fi­cers have launched an in­ves­ti­ga­tion into the in­ci­dent, which hap­pened at around 9.45am on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 2, and are ex­plor­ing the pos­si­bil­ity that the man may have been at­tacked.

PC 3286 Phil Davies said: “It is un­clear at present how the man ended up there as he can­not re­call what hap­pened, how­ever as a re­sult he suf­fered a bro­ken neck.

“There is a pos­si­bil­ity that he may have been as­saulted and I am ap­peal­ing for any wit­nesses who may have been in the area of North Road, near to Mor­risons, be­tween 9am and 9.45am on Sun­day 2nd De­cem­ber who may have seen any­thing or any­one sus­pi­cious.”
