BANC BWYD PWLLHELI FOODBANK: Would like thank everybody who has contribute­d so generously in 2018 and in particular for Christmas. The Foodbank hass been overwhelme­d by the gifts of cash, food and toys, Christmas meals and warm clothing and blankets. It was very busy in 2018, giving out a total of 528 food packs over the year, 64 going out in the week before Christmas. Unfortunat­ely, it seems as if hardship will continue for many local people as the benefits system is changed, leaving many benefit claimants without income as Universal Credit is introduced. The Foodbank be most grateful for any help you can give in 2019. Please note that it is unable to accept nonperisha­ble items, home cooked foods or medication. None of this could be achieved without the help of the volunteers, who are a vital part of the work of the Foodbank.
