Homes plan for ex-filling station site

A PLOT of developmen­t land situated on the edge of a rural village in North Wales is on the market.

Formerly a petrol station, planning permission was granted in 2012 for the erection of 13 properties on the site in Llan Ffestiniog, in the heart of Snowdonia National Park.

It is now lapsed but the vendor hopes it can still be developed into new homes.

The land is on the market with Dafydd Hardy Estate Agents for £240,000.

The vendor said: “Having purchased the site some years ago and obtained (a now housing or an alternativ­e commercial use, which we hope will provide employment and further improve the village surroundin­gs in which it is situated.”
