HAVEN BIDS TO TAKE PLUNGE ON NEW FEATURES

-

HAVEN wants to add a “jump tower” to its Hafan y Mor resort.

Proposals have been unveiled for new guest facilities at the site near Pwllheli.

The first is a jump tower attraction to add extra thrills for visitors, so people can jump from height on to a giant airbag. The proposed site is an underused green area south of the lake.

There is also a shipping container bar planned for the northern part of the park on an area that currently has a children’s climbing frame structure, which is to be removed.

Haven said: “The proposed developments, despite being discrete in nature, will make an invaluable contribution

to the future operation of the holiday park.

“They are for guest use only, will complement existing facilities, are located within the existing park and are thereby accessible, will have no impacts in terms of transport and are of a good design.”

Planners at Gwynedd council will consider the proposals.
