Extra 10% on town car park fees

DRIVERS now have to pay an extra 10% to use Caernarfon car parks.

Most towns in Gwynedd were already signed up to a scheme, which has been in place since 2015, which sees a 10% car parking charge added to existing car park fees. The money is then reinvested in community projects such as public toilets.

The town council has recently joined the scheme, meaning drivers using the town’s car parks will now have to pay an extra 10% (since April 1).

The list of Caernarfon car parks where you will pay an extra 10%: Penllyn, Caernarfon; Glan Mor Uchaf, Caernarfon; Tan y Bont, Caernarfon; Ffordd y Felin, Caernarfon; Doc Fictoria, Y Galeri, Caernarfon; Doc Fictoria Multi story, Caernarfon; Balaclafa, Caernarfon; Safle Shell (Shell site), Caernarfon; Canolfan Cyfiawnder Troseddol, Caernarfon; Penllyn, Caernarfon.
