NORTH Wales is blessed with some of the most beautiful seaside locations in the country. With the Easter holidays upon us and the sun (mostly) shining, those locations are bound to be go-to destinations for many people.

Now three North Wales seaside towns have been recognised in the Which? best seaside towns in the UK top 30. Llandudno, Conwy and Criccieth have made the top 30.

Conwy came out on top in terms of North Wales locations, narrowly missing out on a top 10 slot.

Which? asked its members to rate the beach, attractions, scenery, value for money and much more for nearly 100 seaside towns throughout the UK. Bamburgh in Northumberland was named best in the UK.

Conwy came out in 13th place in the table with the average hotel price coming in at £116. Whilst Which had no star rating for the beach Conwy did get five out of five stars for the attractions on offer.

The scenery in Conwy also bagged the seaside location five stars.

However they only received three out of five stars for peace and quiet. It was given a four star rating for value for money. With all of that in mind they had a customer score of 79%.

Just one place behind Conwy is Criccieth which has the same customer rating as Conwy with 79%.

Criccieth also doesn’t have a star rating on Which for the beach just like Conwy.

However the average price for a hotel in Criccieth is significantly less than Conwy and stands at £85.

No star rating is available on the Which? table for attractions in Criccieth.

The scenery in the Gwynedd seaside town bags Criccieth their first five star rating.

They then score four out of five stars for peace and quiet.

Finally coming in just behind Conwy and Criccieth in 25th place is Llandudno.

The popular seaside town averages around £82 for a hotel the cheapest out of the three North Wales locations in the top 30.

Unlike the other two locations Llandudno have been rated on their beaches, giving them a perhaps disappointing three out of five stars. However, making up for the beach, Llandudno has been rated five stars for the attractions on offer in the area.

Just like Conwy and Criccieth, Llandudno has scored five out of five for the scenery in the seaside town.

The popular seaside resort has then been given four out of five stars for peace and quiet in the area.

The Which members rated Llandudno four stars in terms of value for money.

With all of that in mind Llandudno were given a customer score of 77%.
