MAN EXPOSED HIMSELF TO PATIENT
A FLASHER who exposed himself to a patient in a doctors’ surgery in the Caernarfon area was jailed on Monday.
Salvador Ahmed-Young, 39, of High Street, Llanberis, was sentenced to 12 months in custody after he admitted breaching a sexual harm prevention order. But a six-month suspended prison term was also activated, consecutively.
He must register as a sex offender for 10 years.
District judge Gwyn Jones told him at Llandudno court that a sexual harm prevention order had been made to control his lewd behaviour.
He remarked:
“Such a flagrant disregard of an order of the court can only mean one thing – an immediate period of custody.”
The defendant
(pictured) admitted breaching the order, exposure, theft, having cannabis and outraging public decency on May 6.
Defence solicitor Deborah Davies said Ahmed-Young had spent four years in a medium secure hospital previously.
He’d begun using drugs from a young age and had a traumatic childhood.
Judge Jones told the defendant: “Your record of offending does you no favours.
“There’s a long history of non-compliance with court orders,” the judge added.
