Gov­ern­ment ros­ter agen­cies are ea­gerly await­ing a brief­ing doc­u­ment for the Depart­ment for Trans­port’s Think! road-safety pitch – the first ma­jor re­view un­der the new frame­work. The doc­u­ment is ex­pected on 3 March. Ab­bott Mead Vick­ers BBDO won the busi­ness in 2013 but can­not repitch af­ter fail­ing to se­cure a place on the new frame­work. We’ve been here be­fore. Pre­vi­ous in­cum­bent Leo Bur­nett was pre­vented from repitch­ing in 2013 be­cause it also failed to make it on to the last ros­ter.

Cen­ter Parcs is hold­ing tis­sue meet­ings this week with at least three agen­cies for its UK ad ac­count. In­cum­bent Broth­ers and Sis­ters is repitch­ing and the brand ex­pects to ap­point the suc­cess­ful shop by April.

Four agen­cies have made it through to the next stage of the NSPCC’S fundrais­ing re­view. The char­ity is look­ing for a lead shop to han­dle cre­ative and strat­egy for its fundrais­ing arm. Chem­istry meet­ings took place two weeks ago. Pitches are ex­pected in early March, with a de­ci­sion likely by the end of April.

Ab­bott Mead Vick­ers BBDO, Ano­maly Lon­don, Mccann Lon­don and VCCP pitched this week for ebay’s Euro­pean cre­ative ac­count. AAR is run­ning the process. DDB Ber­lin is ebay’s cre­ative agency in Italy and Ger­many, while Adam & EVE/DDB pro­vides cre­ative sup­port in the UK.

Typhoo has ap­pointed Mccann Manch­ester on a project ba­sis af­ter a com­pet­i­tive pitch. Me­dia Reach cre­ated its most re­cent cam­paign star­ring Nigella Law­son and will re­main Typhoo’s dig­i­tal agency.
