SORRELL SLAMS GOOGLE ON BRAND SAFETY

WPP chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell, speaking at a panel session at the IPA’S Festival of British Advertisin­g, criticised Google for not taking responsibi­lity for brand safety. Ronan Harris, Google UK and Ireland managing director, said that Google might not get it right every time but “we are the first people to hold up our hands” and explained how the company plans to fix the problem.
