TK Maxx has perfected the art of the absurd through its “Ridiculous possibilities” campaign. The latest quirky spot by Wieden & Kennedy London opens on a dinner party, where an eclectic mix of guests explain why they would shop at TK Maxx. The weird and colourful results of a trip to the retailer include a piano player who magically changes outfits on a desert island and a woman who blow-dries her hair on the bow of a speedboat. The ad was created by Mark Shanley and Paddy Treacy, and directed by Adam & Dave through Bold.
