Smart-home brand Hive makes its technology more accessible by connecting it to an everyday family moment in a new ad by CHI & Partners. As a father finally gets his baby to sleep, he realises that he is stuck on the sofa and can’t get up to turn off the lights or the TV – which is when Hive’s app comes in handy. It is the second spot in the “Let’s get living” campaign, which launched earlier this month and aims to promote Hive in markets including the UK, Canada and the US. The work was created by William Cottam and Duncan Brooks, and directed by Max Malkin through Prettybird.
