West Loch Hotel goes on the market
THE PROMINENT West Loch Hotel has been put up for sale as its owners seek to scale up their activities after building up their current venture.
The hotel is popular with walkers and whisky seekers, as well as enjoying regular commercial custom from the likes of SSE, Scottish Water and CalMac Ferries.
With eight bedrooms, as well as a bar, restaurant and lounge, its location and amenities are expected to attract family proprietors looking for a base in the West Highlands.
Alistair Letham, a director in the UK hotels agency team at Colliers International, said: ‘The availability of the West Loch Hotel provides an outstanding opportunity for new family hoteliers, whether first timers or experienced, to acquire an established, well-known and profitable business in one of Scotland’s most beautiful locations.
Charm
‘The present owners purchased the West Loch in 2011 and have invested continuously in the property, adding greatly to its charm and comfort.
‘They now wish to move on to a larger business, offering prospective purchasers the chance to acquire a hotel that has received a great deal of TLC to make it a stylish business providing a very good standard of living.’
Selling agent Colliers International is inviting offers around £500,000.
