Are you sitting comfortably?
CAMPBELTOWN Picture House is offering film-goers the chance to win cinema tickets - by trying out one of its comfy new seats.
A sample seat is currently on display at the Aqualibrium until the end of the school holidays.
Testers are invited to send photos and selfies of them testing it out to the Picture House’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
Tickets
One will be chosen every week until August 12 to win a pair of tickets to a screening during the monthly Victoria Hall showing.
Campbeltown Community Business (CCB) Ltd, which owns and operates The Picture House, is raising £200,000 to complete a restoration project.
One of the ways to contribute is to sponsor one of the new seats.
Jane Mayo, chairwoman of CCB Ltd, said: ‘More than 80 seats have already been sponsored.
‘If the remaining 160 seats in the newly refurbished Picture House were sponsored, we would raise £40,000.
‘Sponsors will be acknowledged in the newly reopened Picture House.
‘It’s a lovely gift or way to commemorate or celebrate people and events, as well as supporting The Picture House for years to come.’
Seats can be sponsored for £250 by individuals, groups or companies.
