Buddies bash for young Pupils at St Mirren ‘With further exchanges with Lochgilphe­ad and Oban planned in the next quarter there is plenty going on at CDJFA’

YOUNG Campbeltow­n footballer­s will experience life with the big boys at a St Mirren training session.

Campbeltow­n and District Juvenile Football Associatio­n (CDJFA) has planned a trip to Paisley on Saturday November 5 to see St Mirren vs Dumbarton.

Before the match players from the P3 to S1 age group will have a coaching session delivered by St Mirren FC.

Back in the Wee Toon, CDJFA final quarter of the 2016 year coaching sessions start today (Friday).

Victoria Hall indoor sessions for P1 – 2011s 4pm to 5pm, P2 – 2010s 5pm to 6pm, P3 – 2009s 6pm to 7pm for seven weeks, excluding Friday November 18.

Outdoor sessions

3G AWP, Kinloch Green outdoor sessions for P4 – 2008s are 6pm to 7.15pm, P5-S1 – 2007-2004s 6pm to 7.30pm and P4S1 girls only sections 6.30pm to 7.45pm.

Sunday coaching sessions return to the 3G AWP this Sunday October 30 for the P2s from 12noon to 1pm and P3-4s from 12 to 1.15pm for eight weeks. Monday coaching sessions start on November 7 for the P5-S1 age groups from 6pm to 7.30pm.

A one off session for the P5-S1 age group will be held on Sunday to avoid the Monday clash with Halloween from 11.30am to 1.00pm.

U15s will train on Mondays 5.30pm to 7pm and 4.30pm to 6pm as directed by the U15 coaches/manager.

Ladies football on the 3G AWP has started again on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm to 8pm.

All youths from S1 upwards and ladies are welcome along to these sessions.
