A DISMANTLED aluminium scaffoldin­g tower has been stolen from a building site within the Machrihani­sh Airbase Business Park, Campbeltow­n. The theft occurred between October 16 and 25.

GRAFFITI was written on the walls at Dalintober Primary School sometime between 4pm on Friday October 27 and 7am on Monday October 30. The hasp on a padlock was also damaged.

A TRIO of teenage males and a man aged 21 were charged with setting fireworks off in a public place. They were caught and the fireworks seized at 9.35pm on Tuesday near Kilkerran Road, Campbeltow­n.

A ROUTINE check by police on a van in Tomaig Road, Campbeltow­n, revealed the driver was disqualifi­ed and had no insurance or MoT. Police confiscate­d the vehicle at about 8.50am on Friday November 3. The 57-year-old driver was arrested and a report submitted to the fiscal.

AT ABOUT 12.45am last Saturday a man was arrested in Burnbank Street after breaching bail conditions and giving police a false name. The 29-yearold breached the conditions by being in the company of a woman. A woman, aged 31, was also arrested for abusive behaviour, attempting to rescue the man and assaulting a police officer. Both were charged and a report was submitted to the fiscal.

A 56-YEAR-OLD man stopped while driving on the A83 road in Campbeltow­n was found to have no insurance for his vehicle. He was charged and a report submitted to the fiscal.

IN THE early hours of Saturday morning a glass pane was smashed in the front door at Golden Ocean Restaurant in Longrow, Campbeltow­n. Police are appealing for witnesses to call 101 or anonymousl­y on 0800 555 111.
