Turn Wee Toon into Window Wanderland

‘We hope that as many people as possible will join in by creating their own display’

-

DROP-IN events will help Wee Toon residents turn their town centre into a Window Wanderland.

Campbeltown Picture House hopes that people will turn the town into a film-themed outdoor gallery with a wide selection of movie-inspired displays this weekend (March 17 to 18).

‘It is exciting that Campbeltown will be taking part in Window Wanderland for the first time this year,’ says Jane Mayo, chairman of Campbeltown Community Business Ltd, which owns CPH.

‘As we prepare for the official relaunch of the cinema, what better theme for our first Window Wanderland gallery than a

celebration of movies and cinema.

‘We hope that as many people as possible will join in by creating their own display and contributing to a town-wide display, and there is still time to sign up.’

Anyone can have a display in their windows, whether in a flat, a house, a business, a shop, a school, a nursery, or even a car, van or motorhome, and there is still time to sign up for the free event by visiting https://windowwanderland.com/ take-part/?eventID=5720

The free drop-in sessions, at noon tomorrow (March 17 and 18), will provide inspiration and free materials to take away to help create displays.
