Travelling author talks to Kintyre U3A
A Scots author, born into a travelling family, gave a talk about her life to the Kintyre U3A group. Jess Smith, with her husband Dave, visited from Comrie to speak at the group’s monthly meeting. Ms Smith has published six books, including an autobiographical trilogy, focusing on the experiences of Scottish travellers. She also co-wrote a booklet on traveller dialects with Robert Dawson. A U3A spokesperson said: ‘We all thoroughly enjoyed it – I think she sold a lot of books.’
