Clachan sale boosts hall funds

A myr­iad of items of all shapes and sizes were sold at a Clachan Vil­lage Hall ta­ble top sale in aid of the hall’s re­fur­bish­ment. Sell­ers from across the area con­verged on the hall to sell wares new and old, in­clud­ing books and col­lecta­bles, as well as crafts, plants, home-bak­ing, pre­serves, can­dles and cards, to a good turnout of vis­i­tors last Satur­day. Tea, cof­fee and cakes were on of­fer with a large group of walk­ers keep­ing the vol­un­teers busy for part of the af­ter­noon. The fundraiser made £198.22 which will go to­wards the re­newal or re­fur­bish­ment of the hall.
