Foot­ballers learn life­sav­ing first aid

Foot­ballers from Camp­bel­town and District Ju­ve­nile Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion net­ted some top qual­ity first aid train­ing re­cently. CDJFA groups have been learn­ing ba­sic first aid skills, from para­medic Lorne McArthur, which could help treat sports in­juries. The young­sters’ train­ing in­cluded clean­ing and ban­dag­ing up wounds, sup­port­ing bro­ken bones, deal­ing with con­cus­sion and some CPR. Twenty-eight chil­dren took pat in the train­ing.
