Footballers learn lifesaving first aid
Footballers from Campbeltown and District Juvenile Football Association netted some top quality first aid training recently. CDJFA groups have been learning basic first aid skills, from paramedic Lorne McArthur, which could help treat sports injuries. The youngsters’ training included cleaning and bandaging up wounds, supporting broken bones, dealing with concussion and some CPR. Twenty-eight children took pat in the training.
