Charged
Two drivers, a 50-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man, were charged after they were stopped for exceeding the speed limit on the A83 near Bellochantuy on Monday October 22.
Church theft
At 9am on Tuesday October 23, it was discovered that cash and a mobile phone had been stolen from the Free Church, George Street, Campbeltown. Police enquiries resulted in a 44-year-old woman, who was found with amphetamine and cannabis, being arrested and charged with the theft that day.
Speeding driver
A 21-year-old man was charged after he was stopped for exceeding the speed limit at about 11pm on Thursday October 25, on the A83, about one mile north of Campbeltown.
Drunk driver
A 26-year-old woman was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol at about 5.05pm on Sunday October 28, on Millknowe, Campbeltown. The woman, who also behaved in an abusive manner, was charged with the offences.
Abusive
A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged after behaving in an abusive manner at about 1.05am on Sunday October 28, in Main Street, Campbeltown.
Arrested
A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged and issued with a £40 fixed penalty notice after behaving in an abusive manner at about 2am on Sunday October 28, in a hotel in Port Ellen, Islay.
