Sudden death of Mr Alex. Munro

The death occurred with tragic suddenness on Sunday evening, at the golf clubhouse, of Mr Alex. Munro, clubmaster and professional to the Machrihanish Golf Club. Mr Munro was in the town on Saturday night, and was apparently in normal health on Sunday. During the day he took meals as usual, and was in the act of dressing himself about five o’clock in the evening when he felt his fatal illness coming over him. Medical aid was summoned from the town, but before the doctor’s arrival death supervened.
