Attacking gulls

-

Having read the letter in last week’s Courier regarding the feeding of gulls, coincidentally I was attacked by one of the many gulls a neighbour has been feeding.

It was a warm day and we were eating in the garden. One swooped and the beak cut my wrist. It was a small cut but frightening.

Feeding the large birds attracts vermin to properties and people should be made aware of this.

It is totally unacceptable to be afraid to sit in one’s own garden.

I hope this person reads the letters and stops feeding the larger birds.
