Lessons to be learned from a humble sprat

I was interested to read in last week’s fishing news that the sprat is making a strong recovery in the Clyde.

Some shoals have been observed 1.2 miles long and more than 100 feet deep.

It’s a surprising recovery in the marine ecosystem with several factors outlined. It is wondered if, in time, this will mean the recovery of larger animal species in the area. Recovery takes time.
