Supporting Ukraine

Ukraine may be fighting one of the biggest and most powerful countries on earth, but it has the strength of the world behind it.

The conflict has been described as a ‘David versus Goliath’ war, with Ukraine battling to hold off the armies of its vast neighbour.

Despite everything the country is going through, Ukraine’s leaders, military personnel and civilians have proved themselves to be tenacious, resilient, brave – and humorous!

Videos showing Ukrainian soldiers dancing to pop music have gone viral on social media, with their ability to live in the moment earning them fans around the globe.

Just last year, Ukraine celebrated 30 years of independence and now its sovereignty is being threatened in the worst way.

The preservation of human life should come before all else, and any military intervention by NATO countries would undoubtedly increase the death toll exponentially by turning the situation into a global conflict.

Will the rest of the continent sit back indefinitely and do nothing but send weapons and impose sanctions while a European country battles for its existence?
