Salute to Campbeltown
Over the last two years, mainly due to the failing health of my elderly parents, I have had cause to interact increasingly with many aspects of Campbeltonian society, including medical, social care, charities, neighbours and local businesses.
I have been hugely impressed by the pleasant, helpful attitude displayed by the vast majority of people I have encountered.
‘No problem,’ is often said and, indeed, meant. Many are willing to go the extra mile to help.
I am pleased to congratulate, and thank, Campbeltonians for their collective attributes, which the rest of the country would do well to aspire to.
Ewan Wallace, Aberdeen.
