Kintyre Way seeks new trustees
The Kintyre Way is looking for new trustees to help the popular walking route make strides into 2022 and beyond.
Despite the two-year long restrictions imposed by Covid, the route's popularity has not waned and it remains one of Argyll's best-loved tourist attractions.
The Kintyre Way has been proactive in raising much-needed funds to ensure maintenance projects can continue to be carried out on the 100-mile route from Tarbert to Campbeltown.
Friends of the Kintyre Way, meanwhile, is made up of volunteers who monitor the route and carry out smaller maintenance tasks, and supporters of the Kintyre Way can help fund this work through donations.
A group spokesperson said: ‘We're looking for enthusiastic go-getters in all regions of Kintyre - innovators who can use their passion and expertise to improve the Kintyre Way.'
