Monday Social Club members parade Easter bonnets
Members of the Monday Social Club got creative when they held their annual Easter bonnet competition at Campbeltown Town Hall on Monday.
Beth McPherson was the special guest to judge the bonnet contest and to entertain everyone with her beautiful singing.
Beth has been a regular visitor to the club since she first visited with Dalintober Primary School choir to provide entertainment many years ago. She will leave Campbeltown soon to enjoy university life in Aberdeen and everyone at the Monday Social Club wishes her well.
The winners of the best Easter bonnet competition were: 1 Veronica Martin; 2 Cathie Mathison; 3 Cathie Duncan.
‘Thanks to the town hall staff for opening up even though it was a bank holiday,’ said a club spokesperson, ‘and for decorating the room with a big Easter bunny’.
