Good Friday walk of witness in Campbeltown

Leaders and members of Campbeltown churches came together last week for their annual Good Friday walk of witness.

Reverend Steve Fulcher, who began the tradition in Campbeltown in 2013, said: 'The walk through town on Good Friday is intended to remind people of Jesus carrying his cross through the streets of Jerusalem. We were unable to do it during Covid so, for the last two years, we stood in pairs at the cross to remind whoever passed by.

'It was good to be able to do the walk again this year.'
