Cannabis charge

A 31-year-old man was charged and issued with a recorded police warning after he was searched by police at Big Kiln Street, Campbeltown, at about 8pm on Friday April 29 due to allegedly smelling strongly of cannabis; he was found to be in possession of a quantity of controlled drugs.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information on the above or any incidents to phone 101 or anonymously call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
