Lady bikers roar into town while on tour
Fourteen members of a female motorcycle club made a pit stop in Campbeltown as they completed a week-long trip round Scotland.
The ladies of Evolution Women’s Motorcycle Club covered just under 1,800 miles during the recent excursion.
They stayed overnight in Kintyre, at the Campbeltown Backpackers’ bunkhouse.
‘We love to visit Campbeltown for the beautiful scenery down the west and east coast of the peninsula and also the beautiful harbour,’ said a club spokesperson. ‘We regularly stay at the hostel which offers excellent facilities.
‘We promote safe and progressive riding and support the Police Scotland Live Fast Die Old motorbike safety campaign, of which our chairwoman is west coast ambassador.’
As well as longer trips, Evolution Women’s Motorcycle Club, which was established in 2019, holds regional socials, ride-outs, track events, rider development and safety days.
Its members ride all types of bikes including scooters, tourers, sports bikes, naked bikes and cruisers.
‘Whatever your experience or riding level, you’ll find a warm welcome from Evolution,’ added the club spokesperson.
