The re­cently re­painted Pleiades is a 57ft Trad stern built by Evans & Son in 2003. She is fit­ted with a Bar­rus Shire 2200 diesel en­gine and has four berths.

The sa­loon has glass-fronted cup­board/en­ter­tain­ment unit with a TV and CD/ra­dio player.

The tra­di­tional style con­tin­ues through­out the boat, com­ple­mented by the light oak fitout. The sa­loon is di­vided by the Bub­ble diesel stove in a har­le­quin style tiled sur­round fit­ted to star­board op­po­site the L-shaped dinette that con­verts into a dou­ble bed with stor­age .

The U-shaped gal­ley is with a stain­less steel sink/drainer and the ameni­ties in­clude a 12v fridge and ‘Vanette’ four-burner gas hob grill and oven. There is also a tra­di­tional side hatch op­po­site, ideal for ex­tra ven­ti­la­tion. There is also a Seag­ull wa­ter pu­ri­fier. The walk­through de­sign shower room has a tiled shower sur­round ad­ja­cent to a wash basin with a oak van­ity unit un­der , there is also a Thet­ford cas­sette toi­let and heated towel ra­di­a­tor.

The fit­ted 6ft x 4ft bed gives the im­pres­sion of a four poster and has drawer stor­age un­der. There is also a good-sized wardrobe with a dress­ing ta­ble, and more drawer stor­age.
