This month’s se­lec­tion in­cludes a tra­di­tional tug-style boat com­plete with boat­man’s cabin, en­gine room and 1949 Rus­ton Hornsby diesel en­gine

Bent­ley is a tra­di­tional tug fronted nar­row­boat built by Ken­field in 1992 with all the trap­pings, in­clud­ing a boat­man’s cabin, en­gine room and large tug front. She is pow­ered by a Rus­ton Hornsby 22hp diesel en­gine ( built 1949) and is fit­ted with six berths.

The tra­di­tional boat­man’s cabin with a clas­sic solid fuel stove to port is fol­lowed on by fit­ted cup­boards that drop down into a ta­ble with scum­ble paint ef­fects and the time-hon­oured Rose’s and cas­tle art­work.

There is also a drop down cross bed and op­po­site a sin­gle bunk/ bench seat, which also has stor­age un­der. The clas­sic en­gine room with the vin­tage power plant has a side hatch to both port and star­board and pi­geon box.

The gal­ley is U-shaped with tiled work­tops , stain­less steel sink/ drainer and more than am­ple low level cup­board stor­age. Ameni­ties in­clude a Fagor in­duc­tion hob, mi­crowave with combi oven and 12v fridge.

The sa­loon has stag­gered side hatch­ers one to port one to star­board. Loose fur­ni­ture in­cludes a two-seater fu­ton that con­verts into an oc­ca­sional dou­ble and a com­pact drop leaf ta­ble. There is also a fit­ted cup­board/en­ter­tain­ment unit with LG TV plus DVD player.

To star­board is a Bub­ble diesel stove in a tiled sur­round, a ra­di­a­tor 2x 240v sock­ets and two 12v sock­ets
