Bentley is a traditional tug fronted narrowboat built by Kenfield in 1992 with all the trappings, including a boatman’s cabin, engine room and large tug front. She is powered by a Ruston Hornsby 22hp diesel engine ( built 1949) and is fitted with six berths.
The traditional boatman’s cabin with a classic solid fuel stove to port is followed on by fitted cupboards that drop down into a table with scumble paint effects and the time-honoured Rose’s and castle artwork.
There is also a drop down cross bed and opposite a single bunk/ bench seat, which also has storage under. The classic engine room with the vintage power plant has a side hatch to both port and starboard and pigeon box.
The galley is U-shaped with tiled worktops , stainless steel sink/ drainer and more than ample low level cupboard storage. Amenities include a Fagor induction hob, microwave with combi oven and 12v fridge.
The saloon has staggered side hatchers one to port one to starboard. Loose furniture includes a two-seater futon that converts into an occasional double and a compact drop leaf table. There is also a fitted cupboard/entertainment unit with LG TV plus DVD player.
To starboard is a Bubble diesel stove in a tiled surround, a radiator 2x 240v sockets and two 12v sockets
