Independent mechanics, technicians and workshop owners are invited to Autotech’s Big Day Out and enjoy a programme of technical presentations from expert repairers, great food and networking.

Autotech was launched recently to provide confidential, online technical assessments for independent technicians, to help entrants identify any weak areas and address them.

After registering at www.autotechnician.co.uk/registration, you can access a series of multiple choice tests covering vehicle systems, theory and diagnostic scenarios. Once completed, score sheets marked with the correct answers are instantly emailed back to you, along with supporting learning material covering each of the question areas.

The Autotech Big Day Out will take place on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at EMTEC Central College in Nottingham and guests will enjoy presentations from expert repairers and the chance to network with mechanics and professionals. Frank Massey of ADS Automotive, Andy Crook of Gotboost, Steve Smith of Pico Technology and Peter Coombes of Techclub will be on hand to give delegates practical fault-finding advice and cover the latest technology, including hybrid & EV systems. Sponsors for this year’s

event are Actronics and Dayco and more guests speakers will be confirmed over the coming weeks at facebook.com/autotechmagazine.

Advance tickets for the Big Day Out are available for £49.50 + VAT if booked before July 4, rising to £59.50 after this date. You can reserve or book tickets by calling Nicola on 01634 924 406 or by emailing admin@autotechnician.co.uk.
