SRS control unit

If the SRS control unit has to be replaced, disconnect the battery and leave it for 15 minutes before undoing any wiring plugs. The front of the centre console needs to be detached to access the SRS control unit, so this may mean the radio has to be removed. Lever out the lower switch panel using a trim tool, then disconnect all the electrical plugs behind it. Prise off the front of the centre console with a plastic trim tool, unscrew the gearknob and detach the gearstick surround.

You should now be able to access the three Torx T30 mounting bolts for the control unit.
