Alternator Pulley Tool Kit

Overrunning alternator pulleys are becoming increasingly common on passenger cars and light commercials due to increased alternator loads. They allow the alternator to freewheel or overrun every time the engine decelerates and, at the same time, dampen vibrations. Special tools are needed when working on these pulleys, and this new kit brings together the proper tools to remove and fit the pulleys on Nippon Denso, Valeo, Bosch and Marelli alternators. It includes: Three ½in-drive combination drivers: an M10 spline driver with a 31-spline x 15mm Hex, a 10mm female Hex with a 17mm outer Hex, and a T50 star with 31-spline x 15mm Hex. Three sleeves: 32mm male Hex with three-pin drive, 33 spline drive x 15mm outer Hex, and a 28mm male Hex x 15mm male Hex drive. A ½in-drive 10mm bit holder and a ½in-drive 10mm 12-point socket. Three 75mm 10mm-bit drivers made from shock-resisting S2 steel: an M10 spline, an 8mm Hex and a T50 star. Two double-ended ring spanners, both featuring a standard ring and a ratchet ring.
