Engine management

The Delphi management system used on this Hyundai incorporates these primary components:

Three-plug ECU

Crankshaft and camshaft sensors

High-pressure fuel pump with built-in lift pump

Four solenoid-type high-pressure fuel injectors

Four glow plugs

Engine coolant temperature sensor

Brake pedal position sensor

Accelerator position sensor, mounted on pedal

EGR with solenoid valve

Air mass sensor with built-in air temperature sensor

Alternator with vacuum pump mounted at rear

Fuel pressure sensor, located on rail

Fuel filter with manual primer pump
