Framing John Delorean

We already know from his appearances on the satirical comedy series Saturday Night

Live that actor Alec Baldwin does a spot-on impersonation of Donald Trump, but this feature-length biopic sees him transformed equally convincingly into the flamboyant motor manufacturer John Delorean. Mixing up documentary footage and interviews with Delorean’s colleagues and contemporaries with dramatised sequences covering key moments in his life, it shows how the motoring maverick abandoned General Motors to strike out on his own and build the legendary DMC Delorean, only to suffer a spectacular fall from grace after being entrapped in a government sting operation and accused of drug trafficking. Despite being found not guilty, both Delorean and his company were ruined. The movie also stars Moreena Baccarin from the Deadpool movies as Delorean’s wife, Cristina Ferrare.
