I just thought I would share some very positive feedback from Steve Rothwell’s article about the cost-effective repair kits made X8R (August 2019). I received my subscripti­on copy of CM on July 15 and e-mailed X8R the next day to ask about a small component. I received a reply and quotation within two hours, after which I placed an order by phone. This was delivered via the Royal Snail in less than 24 hours! Superb service! So, a big thank you to Steve for ‘exposing’ this extremely interestin­g company, revealing a previously well-kept secret to CM readers.
