Jump-starting
I read your comments about the NOCO GB40 jump-starter in the April 2019 issue of Car Mechanics. I have a BMW 1250 motorcycle and the battery is a 12V absorbent glass mat lithium-ion battery with a rated capacity of 12Ah. Would the GB40 be OK to use on this? Gareth Taylor
A As well as the traditional lead-acid battery, the NOCO GB40 is safe to use with absorbent glass mat, gel, EFB and MF batteries, so it’s fine for your BMW motorcycle and any other vehicles with a single 12V battery system.
