Q I’m having a lot of trouble trying to find a workshop manual for an MG3 I’m servicing. It’s not available from Haynes or emanuals. Is there anywhere else I can look? Natalie Thomas

A I’m assuming your MG3 is a post-2010 model, as opposed to the earlier version which was a rebadged Rover Streetwise. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find any supplier of a workshop manual, but Autodata do have details which may be of use to you.

The engine oil grade is SAE 5W-30 and the capacity with filter is 4.5 litres. Antifreeze with OAT (Organic Acid Technology) corrosion inhibitor should be used, and the capacity of the cooling system is 5.6 litres. The torque setting for the road wheels is 110Nm +/–5. The service interval indicator can only be reset using diagnostic equipment.
