► The Drivetec brake friction range has been expanded by The Parts Alliance, with the number of pads increased by 60% and the range of discs by 50% over the last 12 months. In addition, there has been a phase-in of coated discs – discs are edge-marked and being upgraded to be R90-compliant.

► A roster of industry respected trainers has joined the newly-launched JLM Academy, including Darren Darling, founder of The DPF Doctor network, and Andy Savva, aka The Garage Inspector. Supported by JLM Lubricants, the state-of-the-art facility is just 20 minutes from Newcastle Airport and delivers training in different automotive subjects for up to 12 people at a time. It’s kitted out with diagnostic equipment, specialist test tools and two training vehicles. Trainers include Callum Lee from The DPF Doctor, Steve Scott of Simply Diagnostics and David Massey of Autoinform.
