The UK’S biggest indoor motor show, the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, with Discovery, will be marking its 35th anniversary at Birmingham’s NEC from November 8 to 10, 2019 and we have FIVE free pairs of tickets to the event to give away to Car Mechanics readers.
As part of its 35-year celebrations, this year’s show will be dedicating one of the seven halls to cars built from 1984, which will include a motoring timeline showing how cars have evolved. There will also be displays from 300 clubs and groups, covering one million square feet and over 120 years of motoring heritage. There will be more than 3000 classic vehicles on display, including cars, motorbikes, double-decker buses, a steam-roller and even a tank!
The overall theme of this year’s show is Top Trumps – honouring the iconic card game, not the US President! – and celebrity guests include Wheeler Dealers’ Mike Brewer, Salvage
Hunters: Classic Cars hosts Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland, as well as the team from Goblin Works Garage. There’s also a two-day sale from Silverstone Auctions, a Restoration Theatre, Sporting Bears’ Dream Rides and 650 traders including the UK’S biggest autojumble.
Show director Lee Masters says: “To get to the 35th anniversary is very special, especially with the show continuing to grow year after year, not just in size and audience but also in the standard of cars and displays. We want to say a massive thank you to all those classic motoring enthusiasts who have helped and continue to make the show the extravaganza it is.”
Tickets are now on sale, starting from £27.50 for adults when booked in advance. Family, weekend and three-day tickets are also available, as well as reduced-price tickets for groups and discounts for members of exhibiting clubs.
