Recalls

-

Half-a-dozen recalls affected the K13 Micra, the first issued for 2011 models and involving a leaking fuel rail pressure sensor. In 2013, there was a problem with brake master cylinders and, in 2014, Nissan called back 2010-2012 cars due to a faulty driver’s airbag.

Two recalls issued in 2015 dealt with unintended acceleration – an ECU software update was the cure – and the engine start button sticking, the latter requiring a new housing for affected models built between 2013 and 2015.

Finally, a faulty ignition coil saw cars recalled in 2016. This could cause a misfire or stop the engine.
