REMOVING REAR SUBFRAME
The rear subframe removal 1 follows many of the initial procedures for removing the front subframe, such as disconnecting the battery, main power lead and degassing the Hydragas on the MGF. At the rear, Chris recommended detaching the back of the hood and removing the engine cover, secured with several 10mm bolts.
From within the back of the 2 engine bay, the throttle cable was disconnected, along with several electrical plugs, a breather pipe and the fuel line into the fuel filter (quickrelease connection). The charcoal canister was also removed.
