POLLEN FILTER RENEWAL

-

9 REMOVE TRIM PANEL

The pollen filter is accessed via the driver’s footwell and is quite tight for space on right-hand-drive models due to the steering column being nearby. From within the footwell, remove the trim panel shown here, which is secured with a single trim plug and is clipped into position.

10 UNCLIP ACCESS PANEL

A plastic rectangular-shaped panel covers the edge of the pollen filter. Unclip and remove it to expose the side of the old pollen filter, then carefully pull it out. Check the new pollen filter is the same size and shape as the old one. Look for airflow arrows on the edge of the new pollen filter.

11 FIT NEW POLLEN FILTER

Position yourself so that you can see into the driver’s footwell, then feed the new pollen filter into position, making sure the airflow arrows are pointing towards the heater. There’s little space to fit the filter without bending it a little. Removing the footrest can help, but Turin have persevered and found it can be done.
