THE FIRST BONDED PEUGEOT

Sparks †ly in the Mulhouse factory as the bonding robots perform their whirling do-si-do alongside automated welding arms, taking it in turns to apply glue and weld steel to construct the body. The 508 is the †irst Peugeot to have its chassis parts bonded as well as welded. This technique, adopted from premium car makers, crucially makes the 508 stier, the suspension base more solid and the handling more precise.
