So long as your writers continue rating cars through the lens of a driver interested more in lap times than the real world, then you’ll continue to fall short.
Taking a wider perspective, your writers might usefully prepare me for the appalling ride quality of an Audi Q3. I would also discover the only compact SUV which accommodates a four-foothigh pot plant in its rear footwell.

Not sure you’re being fair here. We always mention any aspects of NVH (or other practical elements) if they fall below the average. Like the pot plant test though. BM
